KCA SERVICES Community Giving

Winter 2020

It has always been important to KCA SERVICES to give back to the community that supports us. Throughout 2020 we will be donating funds to three local organizations. You can choose your favorite below. You may vote once per day for your choice. The organization with the most votes at the end of the active voting month will receive $1000 from KCA SERVICES. But not to worry, second and third place will receive $500 and $250 respectively. Individuals may vote up to once per day, depending on your location but not to worry, your email won’t be spammed or sold.

Contact us if you would like your organization or community group to participate in the future. Participation is available no more than once annually.

About The Organizations

We are a prayer and support group for members of the Armed Forces and First Responders and their families living around Boerne, Texas.
The foundation of this ministry is prayer and encouragement for our warriors, veterans, first responders and their families.
We provide a safe meeting environment to share specific prayer requests, fears, tears, pride and joy.

The "Angels All Around You" Mission is to recognize, honor, support and encourage members of the armed forces, first responders and their families in and around Boerne, Texas & surrounding areas.

  • Regular prayer to our Lord, Jesus Christ, on their behalf.
  • Maintain individual contact through email, letters and care packages.
  • As far as is practical, providing individualized follow-up when the military and first responders return to the local area.

The Boerne Community Coalition (BCC) is an all-volunteer organization that works in partnership with other local organizations who all share the same vision – that children in our community should not be at risk of being hungry.

1 in 5.14 children (or 19.45%) face food insecurity during non-school periods. When children are provided the proper nutrition, it positively impacts their physical development, mental health, and academic levels – setting a course for greater achievements in their future endeavors.

What began as an effort to provide summer lunches to children eligible for the Federal Meal Program has evolved into three programs that provide year-long support to these children and their families, with a focus on meals, access to enrichment, and help with making homes safer and more livable.

We desire to see the poorest of the poor in Haiti, transformed through the life-changing message of Jesus Christ, thriving in vibrant Christian communities.

Mercy International is a 501(c)3 Christian non-profit founded by Dr. John Leininger, a retired optometrist. After visiting Haiti for the first time in 1974 and witnessing the spiritual and physical needs that existed there, Dr. John felt led to get involved. He eventually started a small ministry and took medical mission teams to remote areas and aided those who would never receive care otherwise. Since then, he has returned to Haiti over 100 times and has served the people there in various ways for over 40 years.

Over time, Mercy International expanded its ministry and God has blessed its continued efforts in Haiti in such incredible ways. The main focus has always been to rebuild the impoverished nation of Haiti and spread the Gospel to its inhabitants. This is done through education, medical care, church support, housing projects, and feeding families.

When not abroad in Haiti, Dr. John Leininger resides in Boerne, TX.
